While the mainstream ex-factory price of liquid alkali with a concentration of 32% in the province remains steady at 990-1150 yuan/ton, the price of liquid alkali with a concentration of 48-50% is maintained at 1770-1840 yuan/ton. At present, as the caustic soda plants in the province operate at a steady utilization rate, the output of caustic soda is normal and the factory inventory at a reasonable level. While the downstream alumina producers purchased the liquid alkali mildly along with stable operation, the manufacturers in textile, printing and dyeing procured the liquid alkali as it is used based on the weak consumption. Supported by the production cost of caustic soda enterprises, the market price of liquid alkali operates in a narrow and stable transition.
