The added value of chemical raw materials and products increased by 3.9% in Apr.

National Bureau of Statistics data show that in April, the above scale industrial added value grew by 6.5%, an increase of 1.1 percentage points lower than in March. In April, industrial added value above designated size increased by 0.56%. Among them, the chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry grew by 3.9% to the same period of last year.
Sub sectors, in April, among 41 major categories of industry, 36 industries continued to grow in value. Among them, Agro food processing industry increased by 8.5%, 3.9% growth in the textile industry, growth of 3.9% chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing, non-metallic mineral products industry grew 6.3%, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased by 0.2%, non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry increased 1.4%, general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 10.8%, special equipment manufacturing industry grew 12%, growth 9.2% in the automotive industry, railway, marine, aerospace and other transportation equipment manufacturing industry increased by 7.3%, electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry increased by 9.1%, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 13%, electricity, heat production and supply industry grew 7.8%.
