China: producer prices fell slightly while caustic soda rose by 0.2% at last week

According to the Ministry of Commerce monitoring, last week (from May 8th to 14th) the national means of production market price index fell by 0.3% compared to the previous week.
Among which: rubber prices fell by 1.8% over the previous week, including synthetic rubber and natural rubber prices fell by 2.9% and 0.9%, respectively. Non-ferrous metals prices fell by 0.8%, of which copper, nickel, tin, aluminum prices fell by 1.9%, 1%, 0.4% and 0.3%, zinc prices rose 0.5%, lead prices unchanged. The price of basic chemical raw materials fell 0.7%, including benzene, soda ash, sulfuric acid, methanol prices fell 2.2%, 1.1%, 1% and 0.9%, caustic soda prices rose 0.2%. Coal prices fell by 0.3%, of which power coal, anthracite prices fell by 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively, coking coal prices remained stable. Fertilizer prices fell by 0.1%, of which urea, diammonium phosphate and three yuan compound fertilizer prices fell by 0.1%, and potassium chloride prices rose by 0.1%. Steel prices rose 0.5%, of which rebar, high-speed wire, H steel prices rose by 1%, 0.9% and 0.8%, respectively.
