China: production data prices continued to rise slightly at last week

According to the Ministry of Commerce, last week (from August 7th to 13th) the national means of production market price index rose 1.6% over the previous week.
Among them: steel prices rose 3.3% over the previous week, of which welded steel pipe, hot-rolled steel strip, high-speed wire rod, channel steel prices rose by 3.9%, 3.7%, 3.6% and 3.5%, respectively. Non-ferrous metals prices rose 3%, of which aluminum, lead, nickel, zinc, copper prices rose 7.4%, 3.6%, 2.7%, 2.2% and 0.6%, tin prices fell by 0.2%. Rubber prices rose 1.3%, of which natural rubber and synthetic rubber prices rose by 1.3%. The price of basic chemical raw materials rose 0.7%, including methanol, sulfuric acid, caustic soda, benzene prices rose by 1.7%, 0.8%, 0.4% and 0.1%, soda ash prices fell 0.1%. Coal prices rose 0.2%, of which coking coal, steam coal, anthracite prices rose by 0.4%, 0.2% and 0.1%, respectively. Fertilizer prices fell by 0.2%, including urea prices fell by 0.4%, potassium chloride, diammonium phosphate and three yuan compound fertilizer prices remained stable.
