In May 11th, calcium carbide chemical project of Heihe Longjiang Chemical Co., Ltd. was held to re-production ceremony. The project uses an advanced closed calcium carbide furnace for production. Each production of 1 tons of calcium carbide can save electricity about 400 kwh compared with the internal combustion furnace, and the production cost is reduced by at least 220 yuan. The exhaust gas produced is less than 1/10 of the internal combustion furnace, and it can be recycled completely. After the completion of the project, it will become the largest industrial base of calcium carbide in Northeast China. At present, the project has completed the investment of 1.2 billion yuan, with an annual output of 100 thousand tons of calcium carbide phase I project. The annual production capacity of 100 thousand tons of quicklime has already been put into operation. After the project is put into production, the annual sales revenue can be achieved by 400 million yuan, profit and tax is about 24 million yuan.
