In the Huantai Maqiao Chemical Industry Park, Shandong Xuzheng New Materials Co., Ltd. successfully put a polyurethane project with an annual production of 160,000 tons into operation in one go. The first 50 tons of polyester polyols were injected into finished tanks from the production line and are going to be loaded onto trucks and shipped to customers.

Polyurethane is an emerging organic polymer material, known as the "fifth largest plastic", with a very broad market prospect. Xuzheng New Materials has an annual production capacity of 160,000 tons of polyurethane project, with a total investment of 500 million yuan. It is the key to building the polyurethane industry chain in Huantai County, mainly leveraging the cost advantages of raw materials from Shandong Haili and Lanxing Dongda in the Maqiao Chemical Park, combined with innovative patented production processes, to produce polyurethane elastomers (TPUs). The product can be widely used in various fields of production and daily life, such as industrial equipment, green energy, medical care, automobile manufacturing, and home life, with huge potential for development.

"The successful launch of this project has laid a solid foundation for large-scale production in the future, attracting more potential customers and further enhancing the quality influence of the polyurethane industry chain in Zibo City."
