Recently, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Xinjiang’s Eighth Division has proposed to approve the environmental impact report of “CNCEC Donghua Tianye New Material Co., Ltd 500kt/a PBAT project and Phase I annual production of 100kt/a PBAT supporting engineering changes”.

Project Overview: the nature of this project is new construction, including the construction of production facilities, tetrahydrofuran recovery facilities, multiple-use buildings, central laboratories, control rooms, packaging and finished product warehouses, raw material warehouses, tank areas, truck loading and unloading stations, heat medium stations, accident pools, circulating water stations, etc. The two production lines are designed as flexible facilities, which can freely switch between products PBAT, PBT, PBS, PBST, and PBSA according to market demand. The total production volume (maximum production) is 100,000 tons per year, and the maximum production capacity of by-product THF is 14,300 tons per year. The total investment of the project is 649.6052 million yuan, with an environmental protection investment of 58.76 million yuan, accounting for 9.05% of the total project investment.
