Chongqing Jianfeng Group¡¯s DMC Project Model with a Capacity of 50,000 tons Passes Review

According to the news from China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. (Wuhuan) by late January 2024, 30% model review of the Chongqing Jianfeng 50,000 ton/year DMC project designed by Wuhuan has been successfully completed.
The attending parties, based on the characteristics of project technology and with the premise of meeting quality and safety requirements, exchanged ideas about equipment layout, system performance, construction and installation, operation and maintenance, etc. The project owner provided specific suggestions and took meeting minutes.
Chongqing Jianfeng Group plans to adopt a two-step urea process (also known as urea indirect method) for 50,000 tons of DMC (dimethyl carbonate), with urea and methanol as main feedstocks.
On February 18, 2023, a completion ceremony for key projects kicked off in Fuling District in the first quarter of 2023. The 50,000 ton/year dimethyl carbonate (DMC) project invested by Chongqing Jianfeng Chemical was launched on the same day.
The dimethyl carbonate project with an annual production of 50,000 tons is an important springboard for Chongqing Jianfeng Chemical Co., Ltd. to transform into new chemical materials. As an important downstream chemical product of urea, it holds great significance to the extension of Jianfeng Chemical¡äs industrial chain and the improvement of its risk resistance ability.
The project leverages the park resources to build a set of dimethyl carbonate production equipment and integrated public auxiliary engineering facilities next to the Chongqing Jianfeng New Materials Co., Ltd. Nengtong Branch in Zhulinwan, Baitao Street, Fuling District, Chongqing. The total investment budget of the project is about 484 million yuan.
