In mid-April, the kickoff meeting for the design of the second phase of the KDCC NB2-Pj project was successfully held at KUKDO Chemical (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., marking the full launch of the project design work. The main products of this project are 72,500 tons/year of polyether and 20,000 tons/year of epoxy resin, both using KUKDO Chemical′s proprietary patented technology, and it is planned to be put into production in October 2025.

The owner team led by Gao Wanxi, General Manager of KUKDO Chemical (Ningbo) Co., Ltd., and the design team led by Zhang Zhendong, General Manager of Ningbo Zhongtian Engineering Co., Ltd., attended the kickoff meeting.

This cooperation is another collaboration between KUKDO Chemical and Zhongtian Engineering after the first phase of the KDCC Ningbo plant project, which includes 80,000 tons/year of polyether, 40,000 tons/year of POP, and 180,000 tons/year of epoxy resin. In 2022, KUKDO Chemical successfully produced qualified polyether and POP products. The project adopted KUKDO Chemical′s independent technology, independent construction, and all equipment was localized.

As a leading domestic manufacturer of epoxy resins, curing agents, polyether polyols, and polyurethane materials, KUKDO Chemical will further expand its domestic market and increase its market share after the Ningbo project is put into production.
