Wanhua Chemical announced that Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Isocyanate Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of the company, intended to expand the production capacity of MDI facility from 400,000 tons/year to 800,000 tons/year through technical transformation based on the existing MDI facility.

Recently, the company received the ‘Approval Opinions on the Environmental Impact Report of Wanhua Chemical (Fujian) Isocyanate Co., Ltd. 800,000 tons/year MDI Technical Transformation and Expansion Project’ from the Fuzhou Ecological Environment Bureau, agreeing that the company can construct in accordance with the location, nature, scale and environmental protection countermeasures of the construction project listed in the project report.
