The 6 Million Tons Alumina Project of Kanghong New Materials has Started
2024-4-29
Recently, the 6 million tons alumina project of Kanghong New Materials has officially commenced. According to reports, the project has a total investment of 3.08 billion yuan. Its successful implementation has filled the gap in the alumina market in the eastern region of Inner Mongolia, specifically in the city of Huolinguole, and further expanded the local green aluminum-based new material industry chain.
Huolinguole is an emerging industrial city built and thrived on coal. As an important energy safeguard and aluminum industrial hub in the eastern region of Inner Mongolia, its industrial structure has transformed from the initial dominance of coal to the current green and low-carbon aluminum-based new material industry chain. The city has initially formed four subdivisions within the industry chain, including die casting, profiles, aluminum foil, and aluminum powder and aluminum silver paste processing.
In 2024, Huolinguole plans to implement 68 key projects, with 41 already commencing or resuming construction. In the future, the city will explore export paths for green electricity aluminum products, strengthen cooperation with companies such as Benz, BMW, BYD, and Gree in supplying green electricity aluminum products, convert green advantages into industrial advantages, and strive to become the ¡®City of Green Electricity Aluminum in China¡¯.
