A Joint Laboratory of Hydrogen Energy was Unveiled

On April 15th, the Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy-Xi¡äan Jiaotong University Hydrogen Energy Joint Laboratory, jointly established by the National Energy Storage Technology Industry-Education Integration Innovation Platform (Center) of Xi¡äan Jiaotong University and Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd., was officially inaugurated at Xi¡äan Jiaotong University. This is the first joint laboratory of school-enterprise cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy in Shaanxi Province.
Huang Ye, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy Industry Development Co., Ltd., stated that the laboratory, as an innovation-driven platform for hydrogen energy jointly built by both parties, will rely on Shaanxi Hydrogen Energy¡äs resource integration and technology transfer advantages to address technological innovation issues arising from the development of a complete hydrogen energy industry chain in Shaanxi Province. It is planned to establish a new platform for hydrogen energy technology research and development, pilot testing, and industrial layout within 2 to 3 years, while laying a solid foundation for talent cultivation and technological research and development.
It is understood that the laboratory will focus on carrying out work in areas such as institutional construction, mechanism establishment, talent cultivation, platform building, and industrial incubation. It will adhere to the principle of "one center, one incubator, two focuses, and one sharing" (one innovative research and development center, one incubator, deploying the innovation chain around the industrial chain, arranging the industrial chain around the innovation chain, and jointly building and sharing talents) to promote the construction of hardware facilities and content of the laboratory, and establish a physical institution. Centering on industrialization needs, both parties will conduct secondary development of relevant research results on hydrogen energy from the university, establish a pilot platform for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, promote the demonstration and industrialization of hydrogen energy technological innovation achievements, and create innovative enterprises in hydrogen energy technology.
