On April 20th, China’s first off grid green hydrogen project officially entered commercial operation in Liaoning, a province in Northeast China. It is reported that the project was launched in May last year and successfully produced hydrogen on November 30th, achieving the production target in just 8 months. It is worth mentioning that after put into commercial operation, the integrated project is expected to provide high-purity fuel hydrogen to the society, thereby solving the hydrogen demand for hydrogen fuel logistics heavy trucks.

The project is funded by Huadian Liaoning Energy Development Co., Ltd. and China Huadian Engineering Co., Ltd. in a ratio of 7:3. As the first "Large Capacity Wind Ionization Network Hydrogen Production Integration" technology, it is applied to the first 25MW off grid wind power hydrogen production project in China. In addition, it plans to develop a 25MW wind turbine, a 5MWh energy storage power station, and three sets of water electrolysis hydrogen production units with a single unit output of 1000Nm3/h under the project.
