On May 10th, Henan Jinhai New Material Co., Ltd. released the first public announcement of the environmental impact assessment for the hundred-billion-level fluorine-silicon new material project on its official website. The specific details of the project are as follows:
Project Name: Hundred-Billion Fluorine-Silicon New Material Project
Constructor: Henan Jinhai New Material Co., Ltd.
Project Location: Economic Development Zone, Wuyang County, Henan Province
Project Investment: Total investment of 30 billion yuan
Project Duration: Commencement in April 2024, expected completion of the first phase in December 2024
Scale of Construction: Construction of three industrial chains including fluorine-based new materials, silicon-based new materials, and chlorine-based new materials. Additionally, supporting projects such as ion-exchange membrane caustic soda, salt mining and refining, 150MW cogeneration, R&D center, intelligent management center, environmental protection treatment facilities, and comprehensive pipe gallery will be built.

On March 9th, Henan Jinhai New Material Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry CAS, held a signing and unveiling ceremony for the Fluorine-Silicon New Material Research Institute in Luohe City. The establishment of the Fluorine-Silicon New Material Research Institute is of great significance for promoting the construction of Jindadi Fluorine-Silicon New Material Project and building a national innovation hub in the fluorine-silicon new material industry.

Henan Jindadi Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. and Henan Jinhai New Material Co., Ltd. are both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Henan Jinshan Chemical Industry Group. Henan Jinshan Chemical Industry Group, mainly engaged in the production of ammonium chloride, soda ash, and melamine, is a top 500 enterprise in China¡äs chemical industry and a national high-tech enterprise. It is reported that the current project has passed the provincial joint review and approval, obtained the fluorite and salt mine exploration rights, and is intensifying the planning and design. The project is expected to start in April. After the completion of the entire project, it can increase sales revenue by 100 billion yuan and increase tax revenue by 10 billion yuan, further realizing the deep integration of chlor-alkali and soda ash, and becoming a benchmark in the field of fluorine-silicon new materials in China.
