Achieve Full Coverage of Energy-saving Supervision in Key Energy Consuming Units by the End of 2025 (NDRC)
2024-5-29
On May 11th, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice on deepening the energy efficiency diagnosis of key energy consuming units (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"). According to the notice, it is required to establish energy-saving management files for key energy consuming units with an annual comprehensive energy consumption of 10,000 tons of standard coal or above, complete energy-saving supervision for more than 60% of key energy consuming units, understand the energy efficiency level of key energy consuming units and their main energy consuming equipment, and rolling update the reserve list of energy-saving and carbon reducing renovation and energy consuming equipment update projects in all regions by the end of 2024. By the end of 2025, it is required to establish energy-saving management files for key energy consuming units with an annual comprehensive energy consumption of 5000 tons of standard coal or above, achieve full coverage of energy-saving supervision for key energy consuming units, further improve the energy-saving and carbon reduction management level of key energy consuming units, and continuously improve the reserve list of energy-saving and carbon reduction renovation and energy equipment renewal projects in various regions. At the same time, the notice proposes four key tasks, namely establishing energy-saving management files for key energy consuming units, assessing energy efficiency levels in key areas and industries, assessing energy efficiency levels of major energy consuming equipment, and forming reserves for energy-saving and carbon reducing renovation and energy consuming equipment renewal projects.
