Chemours Suspended the Production of Titanium Dioxide in its Mexico Plant

News on May 31: Due to the serious regional drought, Chemours announced that it would temporarily reduce water usage as required by the government and temporarily stop the production of titanium dioxide in its ALTAMIRA plant in Mexico.
Due to the uncertainty of uncontrollable factors, Chemours is currently unable to determine the time of resumption of production.
According to relevant data, Chemoursˇä annual production capacity of titanium dioxide in Mexico is 300,000 tons. On May 31, Chemours announced that the price of Ti-Pure™ Tio2 of all specifications purchased in the Asia-Pacific region would increase by US$100 per ton from July 1.
