Hexanediamine Project Jointly Funded by Wanhua Chemical and Pingmei Shenma Launched

On the morning of June 5, 2024, the commissioning ceremony of the annual production of 180,000 tons of hexanediamine project by Huashen New Materials (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huashen New Materials Company) was held in Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone.
In September 2020, China Pingmei Shenma Group and Wanhua Chemical signed a cooperation framework agreement, and subsequently jointly established Huashen New Materials Company. As the company¡äs annual production of 180,000 tons of hexamethylene diamine project officially started construction in July 2022, it is a chemical project that provides stable supply of HDI (hexamethylene diisocyanate) raw materials for Wanhua Chemical (Ningbo) Co., Ltd. and nylon raw materials for China Pingmei Shenma Group. During the construction process, both parties concentrated their advantageous resources and formed a project team. Guided by the goal of "creating an internationally leading hexamethylene diamine plant", the team actively practiced the development concept of green, low-carbon, and high-quality investment, fully leveraged their respective technological and industrial advantages, benchmarked against world-class standards, deeply researched more than 20 technology optimization projects, kept improving the intrinsic safety level and automation level of the plant to promote the rapid landing of the project.
