On May 30th, the 5th General Membership Meeting and the 1st Council Meeting of the 5th term of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF) were held in Beijing. Attendees include Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairman of the 10th National People′s Congress Standing Committee, Li Yongwu, former President of CPCIF, Fang Chang′an, Deputy Director of the 2nd Bureau of the Central Social Work Department (in charge of the work), Li Shousheng, President of the 4th Council of CPCIF, Li Yunpeng, Party Secretary of CPCIF, etc. The meeting was presided over by Fu Xiangsheng, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of CPCIF, and Zhang Wenlei, President of CCAIA, also attended the meeting. The meeting reviewed and passed the work report of the 4th Council of CPCIF, the report on the income and expenditure of the membership fees of the 4th Council, the explanation of the amendment to the constitution, etc. The 5th Council members, executive members, leaders, and the 1st Supervisory Committee were elected. During the meeting, a special report session was also held, attracting more than 500 representatives from state ministries and commissions, industry associations, local industry management institutions, and member enterprises.
