The Ethylene Unloading Facility under Qilu Petrochemical Officially Put into Operation

On June 29th, Qilu Petrochemical held a launch ceremony for its ethylene unloading facilities.
The Qilu Petrochemical ethylene unloading facility is part of the olefin plant¡äs ethylene and propylene unloading process renovation project. The smooth entry and unloading of ethylene resources into the factory marks a milestone in the company¡äs carbon second chain resumption.
Started on May 21, 2024, the project was completed on June 25. After the completion, the chemical production process is connected, resuming production in the plastic and chlor-alkali plants to provide urgently needed products for downstream customers. Besides, it meets production needs of high-end customized products when retaining the recognition and reputation of downstream users for the Qilu synthetic resin brand. Furthermore, continuous production effectively expands the total amount of the company¡äs products, continuously supporting the regional economic development of Zibo City.
