Guangxi Xilong Chemical¡¯s TiO2 (phase II) and Other Projects were Put into Operation

On the morning of June 25th, Guangxi Xilong Chemical Co., Ltd. held a completion and commissioning ceremony for the second phase of titanium dioxide and the 200,000-ton sulfur-iron ore acid-making project in the Chengnan Industrial Park of Bobai County, Yulin City, Guangxi Province.
It is reported that the company¡äs relocation into the park for the first phase of the 30,000-ton rutile titanium dioxide production line project was completed and put into operation in December 2018. The second phase of titanium dioxide and the 200,000-ton sulfur-iron ore acid-making production line project, with a total investment of 400 million yuan, began construction in October 2023 and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2024. The successful completion of this project not only enhances the company¡äs internal driving force and market competitiveness, promotes local people to work nearby and increase their income, but also greatly boosts the high-quality development of the county¡äs economy. After the project is put into operation, the company can save more than 30,000 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 80,000 tons, making it a project with significant benefits that is both energy-saving and environmentally friendly. The completion and commissioning of the two projects mark the successful establishment of a complete circular economy industrial chain combining sulfur and titanium by Xilong Titanium Dioxide, gradually forming a production scale of 200,000 tons of sulfuric acid and 60,000 tons of rutile titanium dioxide annually, with an annual output value exceeding 1 billion yuan and profit and tax exceeding 100 million yuan.
