2024-7-18
On July 11th, the Ecology and Environment Bureau of Jiujiang City made an approval decision on the environmental impact assessment document for the 10,000-ton annual production of difluoroethane project of difluoromethane unit renovation under Jiangxi Lee & Man Chemicals and made it public.
Project overview:
It is a technical renovation project based on the company¡äs existing difluoromethane (R32) plant and ancillary public facilities. Due to the similar production principles and processes of difluoromethane (R32) and difluoroethane (R152a), the original 10,000 tons/year difluoromethane (R32) plant has been renovated into a 10,000 tons/year difluoroethane (R152a) production facility. This technical renovation project includes dismantling some equipment and facilities of the original difluoromethane unit while adding or utilizing some equipment and facilities of the original unit to build a difluoroethane production unit. At the same time, 4 new vinyl chloride raw material storage tanks and 4 R152a finished product storage tanks will be placed in the tank area. All other public works and auxiliary facilities will be built based on the existing facilities of the original difluoromethane unit.
The total investment of this project is 170.19 million yuan, of which the environmental protection investment is 1.9 million yuan, accounting for 1.12% of the total. The labor quota is 19 people, allocated from the original difluoromethane (R32) plant. They work 300 days/year, four shifts and three operations, eight hours/shift and an annual operating time of about 7200 hours.
