Recently, Lubei Chemical announced that it plans to raise a total of no more than 300 million yuan, which will be fully utilized for the expansion project of an annual 60,000-ton titanium dioxide chloride process after deducting related issuance costs. This expansion project, with an estimated total investment of 719 million yuan, will be implemented by Xianghai Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lubei Chemical. Within the existing 60,000-ton/year titanium dioxide chloride process plant area, a 60,000-ton/year rutile titanium dioxide chloride process unit will be expanded. Additionally, a new 20,000-ton/year electrolytic hydrochloric acid-to-chlorine gas production facility will be built to support the project, with all chlorine gas products being used internally.
