Recently, the key equipment R-3101 ammonia synthesis tower of the synthetic ammonia unit was hoisted as a whole at the construction site of the Da′an Wind and Solar Green Hydrogen Synthesis Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project of PetroChina Jilin Institute. The successful hoisting of this equipment marks the comprehensive start of the large-scale equipment hoisting work for the Da′an Wind Solar Green Hydrogen Synthesis Ammonia Integration Demonstration Project.

As the first of its kind in the domestic new energy field, the Da′an Wind and Solar Green Hydrogen Synthesis Ammonia Integrated Demonstration Project of Huanqiu Jilin Company has carried the significant mission of promoting energy structure transformation and green low-carbon development since its launch. This project is not only the first new energy hydrogen production and cryogenic air separation nitrogen production synthetic ammonia project to start construction in China, but also an important part of the development map of new energy industry in Jilin province, exploring a new path for the sustainable development of the energy industry.

The project is expected to be officially put into operation by the end of 2024. At that time, the project will have an annual production capacity of 32,000 tons of hydrogen energy and 153,000 tons of synthetic ammonia. Meanwhile, the project is expected to reduce 650,000 tons of CO ₂ emissions annually, which is of great significance for achieving strategic goal of building a "Northern Hydrogen Valley" in Jilin and promoting the rapid development of the national power investment green power conversion industry.
