2024-7-24

According to the investor relations activity record disclosed by Taihe Technology, the company¡äs chlor-alkali project is divided into two phases with a total annual production capacity of 300,000 tons. Currently, the annual production capacity of 150,000 tons has been commenced, and it is expected to produce 150,000 tons of caustic soda, 125,000 tons of liquid chlorine, and 3,750 tons of hydrogen annually. Among them, caustic soda is mainly sold externally, while liquid chlorine is used in the production of phosphorus trichloride, a raw material for the company¡äs water treatment agents, and VC (vinylene carbonate), a raw material for VC products, which can reduce production costs. The hydrogen is supplied to the company¡äs cogeneration power plant and sold to surrounding companies. In addition, Taihe Technology plans to build a 10,000-ton capacity for lithium iron phosphate and a 10,000-ton capacity for VC (vinylene carbonate), complemented by some CEC (ethylene carbonate chloride) capacity. It is expected that the production lines will be completed and put into operation in 2024.
