Inner Mongolia¡äs Newly Established Wind-Solar Hydrogen and Ammonia Integrated Production Project
2024-8-7
Recently, Qingtong (Shanghai) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. signed an investment cooperation agreement with the People¡äs Government of Kailu County for the construction of a wind-solar hydrogen and ammonia integrated production project.
The total investment for this project amounts to RMB 8.6 billion, with a supporting new energy construction scale of 800,000 kilowatts of wind power and 200,000 million kilowatts of photovoltaic capacity. The project will establish an electrolyzed water hydrogen production line capable of annually producing 50,000 tons of green hydrogen, which will be directly utilized in a factory that annually produces 260,000 tons of green ammonia. Additionally, electrochemical energy storage facilities will be constructed alongside. The project is scheduled to commence in 2025 with a construction period of 24 months.
The green electricity-powered hydrogen and ammonia production project is a key investment attraction endeavor that actively responds to the national policies of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality." Leveraging the advantages of abundant wind and solar resources and vast development potential. The project will facilitate the development of an integrated energy system in Kailu County. It offers a more economical and efficient solution to enhance the local consumption capacity of new energy, thereby playing a significant role in bolstering the growth and development of the county¡äs new energy industry.
