Befar Group Held Kick-off Preparation Mobilization Meeting for PO/MTBE Plant

On the morning of August 9, Befar Group held a kick-off preparation mobilization meeting for the PO/MTBE plant at the site of the C3/C4 Comprehensive Utilization Project in Beihai Base.
The PO/MTBE plant serves as the core unit of the C3/C4 Comprehensive Utilization Project. Since the beginning of this year, the plant¡äs construction and production preparation work have been progressing steadily according to plan, and it is now entering its final sprint stage. Upon commissioning, the plant will further enhance the industrial chain and have a positive impact on the economic benefits of the entire project.
In 2024, Befar Group has mapped out the forward-looking "Beikun Plan", with the C3/C4 Comprehensive Utilization Project serving as the cornerstone of the light hydrocarbon integrated deep processing industrial cluster under the "Beikun Plan". The company will leverage its existing C3/C4 industrial chain and pursue coordinated development with chlor-alkali, new energy, and new material industries. Adhering to the coupled development path of "new energy + chemicals", Befar Group aims to establish a nationally significant new energy and chemical industry base with global influence in the northern region of Binzhou City.
