The olefin, aromatic hydrocarbon, and downstream deep processing project (referred to as the "Phase II Project") of the 15 million tons/year Coal Clean and Efficient Conversion Demonstration Project of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. builds upon the Phase I Project.

Through the integration of coal pyrolysis, coal/semi-coke gasification, and downstream deep processing technology systems, it further expands and extends the industrial chain, explores new development paths for coal-based olefin and coal-based aromatic hydrocarbon coupling, and produces four categories of high value-added products, including high-performance materials, battery electrolyte solvents, biodegradable materials, and special oil products, thereby achieving high-end, diversified, and low-carbon development of the coal chemical industry. Following the principle of "overall planning and phased implementation," the Phase II Project is divided into the Phase II Stage I Project and subsequent projects.

The Phase II Stage I Project covers a total area of approximately 9,200 acres, with an estimated total investment of approximately RMB 62 billion. It mainly constructs a 5.6 million tons/year coal-to-methanol facility, a 1.48 million tons/year methanol-to-olefins facility, and downstream deep processing units, producing a total of 2.77 million tons/year of eight types of products, including polyethylene, polypropylene, EVA, SAP, etc.
