Guangxi Liuhua Liquid Alkali Tank Container Train Debuts

At 11:08 am on August 22nd, with a loud whistle, Guangxi¡äs first liquid alkali tank container train was officially launched in Liuhua Holdings Chlor Alkali Chemical Industry Park. A 30-tank container train loaded with 760 tons of liquid alkali slowly departed from the newly built railway dedicated line, heading to Guangxi Huayin Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. in Debao County, Baise City. This marks a new breakthrough for Liuhua Holdings in "road to railway" transportation, opening a new chapter in the green and low-carbon transformation of logistics, and injecting strong impetus into the high-quality economic development of Liuzhou City.
It is reported that the Liuhua Railway Special Line Project has a total investment of nearly 60 million yuan, a total land area of 5.6314 hectares, a total track laying length of 1.782 kilometers, and a total length of 1.027 kilometers. It is one of the key projects implemented by Liuzhou City to implement "Several Measures by Central Government to Support Guangxi to Accelerate the Construction of Domestic and International Dual Circulation Market Operation Convenience", and to lead the green and low-carbon transformation of logistics through "road to railway". After put into operation, it will solve the "last mile" problem of railway freight transportation in the park, reduce the shortage of cars, and enable long-term material exchange with the vast coastal areas of central, northern, southwestern, and southern China, achieving efficient and circular development of "raw material transportation in, product transportation out". It will achieve an annual total of over one million tons of railway transportation, save nearly 6 million yuan in transportation costs, reduce comprehensive transportation costs by nearly 10%, greatly enhance the overall logistics function of the industrial park and the regional value of the area, and further promote the interconnection and integrated development of regional economy.
In recent years, Liuhua Holdings has actively practiced the green development philosophy and promoted the "Traditional Industry Revitalization Project" through a series of innovative projects. The first surplus hydrogen recycling and comprehensive utilization project in Guangxi has reduced carbon emissions by 9100 tons of standard coal per year, while the annual production of 50,000 tons of chlorinated polyethylene project has extended the chlor alkali chemical industry chain. The smart center of the park empowers the chemical industry park with digitalization.
In the following days, Liuhua Holdings will continue to deepen its cultivation and tap potential, focusing on the city¡äs "One Two Five Year Plan" project to promote the lithium battery electrolyte industry chain chemical new material project, the implementation of the 75,000 tons/year chlorinated polyethylene capacity expansion and tap potential transformation project, and the construction of the chlorinated polymer research and development pilot platform.
