On August 13th, the list and index evaluation meeting for the energy efficiency "champion" and water efficiency "champion" of key petroleum and chemical products in 2023 was held in Beijing. CPCIF, CCAIA, Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC, CHN Energy, Sinochem, China Inorganic Salts Industry Association, China Soda Industry Association, China Nitrogen Fertilizer Association, China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association, China Rubber Industry Association, China National Coatings Industry Association among others attended the meeting. Zhang Shoute, Vice Secretary General of CCAIA, participated in the meeting. The meeting reviewed the list of benchmark enterprises, energy consumption values, and excellent energy-saving managers for 24 products such as caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride in 2023, as well as the list of benchmark enterprises, water consumption values, and excellent water-saving managers for 13 products such as caustic soda and polyvinyl chloride in terms of water efficiency. The list of benchmark enterprises for public announcement was determined.
