On August 16th, the 17th National Symposium on the Chloroacetic Acid Industry Chain kicked off in Chengdu, attended by more than 50 representatives from over 30 chloroacetic acid manufacturers and related upstream and downstream industries. While the meeting was chaired by Zheng Jiebin, Vice Secretary General of CCAIA. Zhang Peichao, Vice President and Secretary General, delivered a speech. The Association leaders and relevant experts gave special reports on the current development of the upstream acetic acid, chloroacetic acid, and downstream glycine glyphosate industry chains, as well as the application of continuous chloroacetic acid hydrogenation catalysts and graphite heat exchangers in continuous chloroacetic acid processes. The attending representatives fully exchanged production and operation of their respective enterprises, with a focus on discussing the energy-saving and consumption reduction of chloroacetic acid products, expanding downstream application fields, and exploring international market demand.
