Recently, the on-site construction for the technical renovation project of the propylene oxide production facility at Taixing Yida, a subsidiary of Yida Chemical, has basically concluded. The company is now formulating and refining the trial production plan, and has applied for expert appraisal and verification. Once the verification is approved, the trial production process can commence.

It is reported that in order to further optimize the design, conserve energy, and reduce consumption, Yida Chemical has initiated a technical renovation of its existing propylene oxide plant. The company plans to utilize the original production facilities and renovate various units, including the PO refining unit, methanol concentration unit, hydrogenation unit, glycol ether concentration unit, tail gas recovery unit, propylene removal unit, reaction unit, as well as utility and auxiliary facilities.
