On August 21st, the working group meeting organized by CCAIA to respond to the negotiation of the Global Plastic Treaty was held online. Leaders from member units of the working group, including Zhongtai Chemical, Xinjiang Tianye, Beiyuan Group, Qingdao Haiwan, Tianjin Bohai Chemical, Chlor Alkali Division of Sinochem, and Chlorine Products Division of Wanhua Chemical, attended the meeting. While President Zhang Wenlei presided over the meeting, Vice President and Secretary General Zhang Peichao reported on the progress of negotiations on the Global Plastic Treaty and discussions on related issues. The attending representatives exchanged views on PVC related issues and industry perspectives, and reached a consensus. President Zhang Wenlei summarized the meeting and systematically deployed the next steps of the working group′s response work.
