From September 19th to 20th, the foundation design kick-off meeting for Zhuozheng Methanol Project, Methanol and Acetic Acid Chain Extension Project, and New Materials Project of Huineng Holding Group was successfully held at the Zhuozheng project site.

The meeting conducted in-depth discussions centering on core topics. Furthermore, thorough exchanges were held regarding digital delivery of the Zhuozheng Project, construction of a smart chemical plant, and establishment of a digital work coordination mechanism.

This foundation design kick-off meeting marks a significant milestone in the development of the Zhuozheng project and a crucial step towards the construction of a digitalized and intelligent factory.

Inner Mongolia Zhuozheng Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. Annual 2.6 Million Tons New Materials Demonstration Project
Planned Construction Period: From May 2023 to December 2030.
Project Overview: Construction of an annual 2.6 million tons new materials demonstration project, with the following main products: 1 million tons/a of polyglycolic acid (PGA), 500,000 tons/a of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), 100,000 tons/a of polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), 120,000 tons/a of polyoxymethylene (POM), 50,000 tons/a of ethanol, 730,000 tons/a of acetic acid, and 50,000 tons/a of vinyl acetate. By-products include 40,000 tons/a of mixed alcohols and 80,000 tons/a of polyglycolic acid oligomers. Ancillary projects include water, electricity, gas, and steam supply from the industrial park to the plant and within the plant, as well as utility engineering and auxiliary facilities such as air separation, thermal power, raw material storage and transportation, and wastewater treatment for various raw and reclaimed water. Additionally, there will be supportive projects for living amenities, ash yards, and other services.
