On October 15th, the kick-off meeting for the basic design and the signing ceremony for the process packages of the first-phase olefin, aromatics, and deep processing projects of the 15 million tons/year Demonstration Project for Clean and Efficient Conversion of Coal by Quality in Yulin Chemistry Co., Ltd. of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group were successfully held in Xi′an. This marked the official entry of the project into the substantive design phase.

The chairman of Yulin Chemistry expressed that the company aims to establish "four first-class" standards, cultivate "four business philosophies," work with participating construction units to establish a comprehensive management philosophy, jointly implement relevant project management mechanisms, and comprehensively initiate a new wave of vigorous and swift construction, ensuring that qualified oxygen and nitrogen products are produced from the air separation unit by June 30, 2027.
