Recently, the 0.9MWp rooftop distributed photovoltaic power generation project of New Materials Company was successfully connected to the grid. As of October 20th, 5123 kilowatt hours of electricity have been generated.

Under the photovoltaic power generation project, roofs and idle land are used to install photovoltaic panels to collect solar energy. With installed capacity of 0.9MWp, it adopts the operation mode of "self-use and on-site consumption". The total power generation in 25 years is estimated to reach 20.43 million kWh, with the first year′s power generation expected to be 910,000 kWh. According to the calculation of thermal power units, the generated electricity can save 8858 tons of standard coal and reduce 20,373 tons of carbon dioxide emissions in 25 years. After the successful grid connection, the company will have energy consumption and carbon emission indicators equivalent to green electricity, which can not only reduce the cost of electricity consumption for enterprises, but also help promote the development of energy structure towards a clean and low-carbon direction.
