2024-10-25
On October 21, Shandong INOV New Materials Co., Ltd. issued an announcement to publicly announce the environmental impact report of the 300,000 tons/year downstream derivatives project of propylene oxide and ethylene oxide before submission for approval.
The project plans to build 12 production lines of high-end functional polyether polyols series products and 2 production lines of high-end polymer polyol (POP) products. After the project is completed, it can achieve an annual output of 200,000 tons of high-end functional polyether polyols and 100,000 tons of high-end polymer polyol (POP).
It is reported that the "Environmental Impact Report of Shandong INOV New Materials Co., Ltd.¡äs 300,000 Tons/Year Downstream Derivatives Project of Propylene Oxide and Ethylene Oxide" was approved by the Zibo Ecological Environment Bureau on December 31, 2021. Currently, site leveling is in progress. According to the approved environmental impact assessment, the project originally planned to produce 130,000 tons/year of high-end functional polyether polyols, 90,000 tons/year of high-end polymer polyol (POP), 50,000 tons/year of environmentally friendly polyurethane adhesive products, and 30,000 tons/year of polyurethane flame-retardant series products. During the later implementation process of the project, the enterprise has re-planned the product scheme according to changes in market demand and adjusted relevant raw and auxiliary materials and fuels, overall material storage, the overall layout of the project, and environmental protection measures. Therefore, the environmental impact assessment is resubmitted for approval.
