Recently, the lake salt production areas in Northwest China have been engaged in large-scale salt production, with a continuous increase in output and a certain increase in inventory among some manufacturers. At the same time, most downstream caustic soda and soda ash plants have operated normally, with the equipment at a high load. Some facilities have entered the stage of production restriction or maintenance, resulting in a slight shortage of lake salt procurement. Although the lake salt market in the region has sufficient supply, the flow of goods in some areas has been slightly hindered due to the reduction of railway transportation capacity. At the same time, the purchase volume of enterprises has decreased due to the maintenance and production restrictions of some downstream facilities, resulting in a slight decline in market transactions compared to the previous period.
