The Air Separation Unit of Sichuan Yongying was Successfully Started up

On November 6, 2024, the air separation unit of Sichuan Yongying was successfully started up at one time, and qualified oxygen and nitrogen products were smoothly produced. The purity of oxygen is 99.72%, and the purity of nitrogen is 99.999%. All indicators are better than the design indicators, marking the smooth entry of this project into the trial production stage and providing a strong guarantee for the downstream user¡äs 150,000-ton BDO project per year.
The air separation unit adopts liquid oxygen internal compression, with expanded air entering the lower tower and a full rectification hydrogen-free argon production process. It is equipped with an advanced backup system to ensure the safety and stability of the unit¡äs operation. The successful start-up of this air separation unit can not only provide qualified and pressure-stable oxygen for the downstream acetylene unit and various specifications of nitrogen for users throughout the plant but also lay a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the subsequent process flow.
