2024-11-18
On November 13th, it was learned from Sinopec that Sinopec officially put into use the first cold and heat energy exchange station in Nangang, Tianjin. Its annual processing capacity exceeds 2.6 million tons, marking a major breakthrough made by Sinopec in the field of comprehensive utilization of cold energy.
This project is the first in China to achieve energy coupling between an LNG receiving station and large-scale petrochemical product production facilities. It can save 13 million cubic meters of natural gas and 3 million kilowatt-hours of electricity every year, which has important demonstration significance for further promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of energy.
