Special Epoxy Resin Project of Jiantao (Beihai) Started

The planned land use of the S1 plot in the first development area of Special Epoxy Resin Project under Jiantao (Beihai) Industrial Co., Ltd was scheduled to be completed by late November for site leveling construction. The construction of the fence and roadbed is underway, with the period expected to be one year and project completed and put into operation by the end of 2025.
The Jiantao (Beihai) Green New Materials Industrial Park project officially started construction in the Petrochemical Industrial Park of Tieshangang (Linhai) Industrial Zone. At the construction site of the first phase project, as multiple large excavators were busy digging, backfilling, and leveling the land, everything was well-organized.
On October 29, 2024, the 20th phase of land in Beihai City, Guangxi was acquired by Jiantao (Beihai) Industrial Co., Ltd. at a bottom price of 81.22 million yuan. The plot will be used for the construction of the Jiantao Green New Materials Industrial Park, which plans to produce 200,000 tons of electronic grade special resin and 140,000 tons of epichlorohydrin.
The total investment of this project is 10.5 billion yuan.
It is planned to produce 340,000 tons of caustic soda, 140,000 tons of epichlorohydrin and 400,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide during the first phase.
400,000 tons of ethylene-based polyvinyl chloride and 200,000 tons of phosgene-based polycarbonate will be constructed during the second phase.
The third phase includes construction of 200,000 tons of electronic grade special resin and 24 million copper-clad panels.
140,000 t/a epichlorohydrin: direct oxidation-based hydrogen peroxide, with the construction of one 140,000 t/a epichlorohydrin production plant, consisting of two 65,000 t/a chloropropene production plants and two 70000 t/a epoxy production plants.
200,000 tons/year electronic grade special resin: 5 production lines, including 100,000 tons/year KB-28 base resin, 55000 tons/year KB-500 low bromine white adhesive resin, 25000 tons/year KB-505 low bromine yellow adhesive resin, 10000 tons/year KB-400 high bromine epoxy resin, 2500 tons/year KB-686N75 halogen-free epoxy resin, 3500 tons/year E20 halogen-free epoxy resin, 2000 tons/year KB-2350A80 brominated epoxy resin, and 2000 tons/year KB-802 phenolic resin products.
After the completion, the project will effectively fill the gap in the field of copper-clad laminates in the electronic information industry chain in Guangxi.
