Recently, Sinochem International Corporation under Sinochem Group has completed the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and product carbon footprint verification for two chemical intermediate products, namely para-dichlorobenzene and para-nitrochlorobenzene, and obtained the certification from the third-party authoritative certification body SGS based on the ISO 14040, ISO 14044 and ISO 14067 standards.

Up to now, Sinochem International Corporation has completed the LCA assessment and carbon footprint certification for eight intermediate products such as epichlorohydrin, para-dichlorobenzene and para-nitrochlorobenzene. The carbon footprint certification is the "green pass" for products to enter the international market. It can ensure the provision of accurate and reliable product carbon emission data for customers, strongly support the carbon management and sustainable development of customers and downstream industries, and help enhance the international market competitiveness of enterprises.
