On the morning of December 5th, the centralized commencement ceremony of the "Beikun Plan" - Beihai projects was held at the Beihai Base of the Befar Group. During the event, the Befar Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the "Beikun Plan" with the Binzhou Beihai Economic Development Zone, and the centralized disposal center for special-category hazardous waste (waste salt) in the East China region, which is constructed by the Befar Group, started construction.

This project is based on the new ecology of the circular economy industry, closely follows the national "dual-carbon" strategy, and relies on the industrial chain model of "waste salt disposal + salt chemical utilization" to build a world-class waste salt disposal device, make up for the shortcoming in the waste salt disposal capacity in the East China region and its surrounding areas, and play a role in providing support and emergency disposal for sudden environmental incidents.

Relying on the abundant wind and solar energy resources, land resources, port resources and the advantages of the chemical industry in the northern part of Binzhou, the Befar Group has pioneered the planning of the "Beikun Plan".
