Recently, the construction of the Beihai Kingboard Green New Materials Industrial Park project has started. It is reported that this project is a major one for supplementing and building the industrial chain of electronic information materials in the autonomous region, and it is also a leading project for the planned layout of the green chemical industry in Beihai.

This project is invested and constructed by the Kingboard Group from Hong Kong, with a total investment of 10.5 billion yuan. In the first phase, projects for producing 340,000 tons of caustic soda, 140,000 tons of epichlorohydrin and 400,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide will be built; in the second phase, projects for producing 400,000 tons of polyvinyl chloride by the ethylene process and 200,000 tons of polycarbonate by the phosgene process will be constructed; in the third phase, projects for producing 200,000 tons of electronic-grade special resins and 24 million copper-clad laminates will be built.

In addition, the Kingboard Group will introduce downstream supporting enterprises and promote these downstream supporting enterprises to implement projects such as 100,000 tons of chlorinated methyl ester, 100,000 tons of polyaluminium chloride, 100,000 tons of calcium chloride and 200,000 tons of chloromethanes in phases according to the implementation situation of the Beihai Kingboard Green New Materials Industrial Park project.
