Recently, Luxi Chemical has made a public announcement that the first phase of its 1 million tons annual output silicone project, with a total investment as high as 3.2 billion yuan, will start construction in Liaocheng High-tech Industrial Zone.

It is reported that this project covers an area of 140,080 square meters and has a building area of 147,100 square meters. It is expected to produce 1 million tons of silicone monomers, 450,000 tons of mixed methyl siloxane and 400,000 tons of silicone rubber annually, as well as produce supporting downstream deep-processing products.

It is understood that silicone materials are not only used as special materials in the fields of aviation, cutting-edge technology and military technology departments, but also have their application scope expanded to industries such as construction, electronics and electrical, textiles, automobiles, machinery, leather and papermaking, chemical light industry, metals and paints, medicine and medical care.
