Guangxi Chlor-Alkali Successfully Passed the Energy Management System Certification

Recently, Guangxi Chlor-alkali smoothly passed the audit by the China Quality Certification Center and successfully obtained the ISO50001 energy management system certification. This is another significant system certification following the certifications of quality, environment, and occupational health management systems, marking that the management level of Guangxi Chlor-alkali has been further improved in terms of being scientific, standardized, and normalized.
Since its construction and operation, Guangxi Chlor-alkali has always adhered to the energy management policy of "abiding by laws and regulations, saving energy and reducing consumption, clean production, and continuous improvement". At the beginning of this year, Guangxi Chlor-alkali made important arrangements for the construction of the energy management system. Under the guidance of the energy-saving leading group, the energy management working group comprehensively sorted out the energy consumption structure, energy consumption measurement, energy consumption situation, and energy management system of Guangxi Chlor-alkali. Weak links in energy management were identified, and improvement measures were put forward. The energy management system was revised and the calculation logic for product energy consumption was optimized to ensure the effective operation of the energy management system. Through a series of internal trainings and publicity, the energy management awareness of all employees was further enhanced.
On the basis of internal audit and improvement, the experts of the audit group carefully inspected the energy management system, energy consumption data, energy-consuming equipment, and energy-saving renovation projects through methods such as checking materials, random questioning, and on-site investigations. The audit group affirmed the achievements made by Guangxi Chlor-alkali in energy-saving management and put forward suggestions for continuous improvement in energy conservation and emission reduction in the future.
In the future, the company will continue to improve the energy management system, regularly conduct energy audits and evaluations in both its Shanghai and Guangxi bases respectively, and continuously improve energy utilization efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and promote the green, stable development of the company through scientific management and technological renovation.
