The Project of Huayi¡äs Annual Production of 100,000 Tons of Green Methanol has Officially Started

Recently, Huayi Group¡äs 100,000 tons/year green methanol project officially broke ground and started construction in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park.
It is understood that this project adopts the biomass methanol route. It uses the green biomethane produced by the fermentation and purification of Shanghai¡äs urban wet waste, livestock and poultry manure, etc. as raw materials, introduces the green electricity generated by 3 wind turbine generator sets in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, and relies on the gas production equipment of Huayi¡äs syngas supply and supporting projects for production. The project covers an area of 8,000 square meters and is planned to be completed by the end of December this year. After the project is completed, it will achieve a breakthrough from "zero" in Shanghai¡äs green methanol industry, and Shanghai Port is expected to be refueled with locally produced green methanol.
