Recently, the 60,000-ton-per-year VAE (vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion) re-expansion project of Chuanwei Chemical Company successfully carried out the first feed-in test run and produced qualified products. So far, the VAE production capacity of Chuanwei Chemical has reached 180,000 tons per year.

It is understood that VAE is a high-performance environmentally friendly water-based emulsion, which is widely used in fields such as construction, real estate, furniture, and packaging. It is one of the fine-processed and high-value-added products strongly encouraged and supported by the country, Chongqing Municipality, and Sinopec for development.
