Recently, eight departments including the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Green Technology Promotion Catalogue (2024 Edition)". The catalogue has selected 112 advanced green technologies in 7 industries, namely energy conservation and carbon reduction industries, environmental protection industries, resource recycling industries, green and low-carbon energy transformation, ecological protection, restoration and utilization, green upgrading of infrastructure, and green services. It specifies the technological process content, main technical parameters, application cases, etc. of each technology.

The National Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, will organize activities such as technology roadshows and achievement promotions to promote the industrial application of technologies. Financial institutions are encouraged to strengthen financing support for the application of green technologies in the catalogue through green credit, green bonds, carbon emission reduction support tools, etc.
