A Project of Anhui Putan has a Successful Feeding Trial Run

Recently, the 300,000-ton-per-year carbon dioxide-based polycarbonate polyol project (phase I) of Anhui Putan New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hefei POLY Advanced Materials Technology Co., LTD, located in Huainan Modern Coal Chemical Industry Park, has successfully carried out the feeding trial run, filling the gaps in the domestic industries related to carbon dioxide resource utilization and carbon neutrality.
The total investment of this project is approximately 2 billion yuan, covering an area of about 500 mu. The project is constructed in two phases. After the project is completed and reaches full production, it can effectively fix about 180,000 tons of carbon dioxide. It is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of approximately 7.5 billion yuan, an annual tax payment of about 300 million yuan, and create about 400 job opportunities. Among them, the first-phase project covers an area of 150 mu with an investment of about 600 million yuan. It builds a production facility with an annual output of 50,000 tons of carbon dioxide-based polycarbonate polyol and supporting projects. It can effectively fix about 26,300 tons of carbon dioxide per year, making it the world¡äs largest carbon dioxide-based polyol facility at present. Currently, the facility has officially entered the commissioning stage and is expected to start production in the first quarter of 2025. After the first-phase project is completed and reaches full production, it is expected to achieve an annual sales revenue of 1.5 billion yuan, an annual tax payment of about 60 million yuan, and create about 150 job opportunities.
