ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project Produced Qualified Products

Recently, qualified products were successfully manufactured in the trial production of the low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) plant line 1 under ExxonMobil¡äs Huizhou Ethylene Phase I project. Next, other production facilities will gradually enter the trial production stage.
Located in the Daya Bay Petrochemical Park in Huizhou, the ExxonMobil Huizhou Ethylene Project is one of the major foreign investment projects in China. With a total investment of more than 10 billion US dollars, the project is planned to be developed in two phases, starting in April 2020. During the first phase, it includes a flexible feed steam cracking unit with an annual output of 1.6 million tons of ethylene, two sets of high-performance linear low-density polyethylene units with an annual output of 1.2 million tons, one set of low-density polyethylene unit with an annual output of 500,000 tons, and two sets of differentiated high-performance polypropylene units with an annual output of 950,000 tons.
